On Jason Collins' announcement that he is homosexual there was much support given. However, we are so far behind and others ignorance to words are apparent; hence, the media's words "Jason Collins Comes Out Gay". Really??? Did Jason come out gay, like a disease hit him? Couldn't they say he annouced his homosexuality? I just find as an ally that the words are a sign we still have much to advocate for and that we all need to make a change and advocate for intelligence. Thoughts?
